Mushel Melo Shells

Mushel Melo shells are an extremely large sea snail, from the family; Volutidae. This species can be found in South East Asia from Burma, Thailand, Malaysia, all the way to the South of China and the Philippines. Mushel Melo's habitat in muddy bottoms at a maximum depth of around 20m.

A large shell measuring between 12 - 20cm.  A creamy orange colour with unique ridges on the front of the shell, which tend to be slightly darker than the overall shell colour.  A truly stunning decorative shell.

Ideas: Mushel Melo shells are excellent for interior and exterior decoration as well as retail window displays. Our shells have used for photo-shoots, decoration in restaurants, event theming as well as art & craft projects. Being larger in size they are perfect for details in aquariums or making a shell mobile.
