Ecosoy Container Wax

Blackadder EcoSoy Container Blend is specifically designed for use in containers.

Unlike other soy waxes Blackadder CB EcoSoy is easy to use, has excellent results reducing wetspot whilst also producing excellent scent throw.

As with most container waxes, they are designed not to shrink like a pillar wax would. Pillar wax shrinks to enable demoulding, where a container candle is kept in the container.

Container wax is also softer, and creates a deep wide wax pool that is slower to burn in comparison to traditional paraffin wax. Additionally as natural wax is not burning a petrochemical there is virtually no sooty smell or black smoke to deal with keeping the environment cleaner.

Many candle making books and videos give advice on pouring temperature of the wax for the best results. Blackadder wax gives excellent results pouring when the wax has started to cool and becomes cloudy. Pouring into a room temperature angled container avoids excess air mixing into the wax.
